“Wicked” Beginnings

Samhain is coming and I am feeling a bit homesick. I consider myself a “witch”…no, not in the sense of the Wiccan religion, but in the sense that I am a born and bred Salem, MA native. I graduated from Salem High School - “Home of the Witches” (what else would a Salem High mascot be named?). My parents and grandparents were born there, as were my kids. I recently moved to eastern North Carolina, because my oldish bones don’t enjoy the cold and snow anymore, so here I am with my hubby and 4 longhaired Dachshunds.

We recently bought a small travel trailer because…4 dogs in a hotel??…and you can’t go too many places safely right now, since COVID has disrupted everyone’s lives. So for now, I will introduce you to my new hometown, because North Carolina is beautiful, too.
